Computer Virus Removal

Virus Removal

Virus Removal is a process of disinfecting a computer of malicious software intended to cause harm or steal information from the infected computer.  There are different categories of this dangerous software often called malware, spyware, adware, trojans, worms, viruses, etc.  Depending on the severity and duration of the infection there are different methods that may be used to disinfect the computer.  It can be as simple as running “good" antivirus/malware removal software designed to find and delete the offending virus, or as severe as backing up data and a total wipe down of the computer and all software has to be reinstalled. Our skilled technicians must evaluate each computer before deciding on a course of action.

There are literally thousands of different ways a computer can become infected with spyware, viruses, and other malware.  With over a thousand new threats a week they can sneak into your computer through email, social networking web sites, surfing “the dark side of the internet”, not paying attention to mouse clicks, pirating copyrighted material, backdoor exploit flaws in windows operating system, on and on.  Their primary objective is to learn more about you by spying and collecting bank account numbers, passwords, documents, any type of personal information that may result in the bad guys making money or stealing money off of you. Once infected the problem will grow worse if left untreated as computer back doors will be opened and more infections will occur.  Click on the external links below to learn a bit more of this agonizing problem.
